The Big Rock Mesa Landslide Maintenance District provides administration and maintenance services for approximately 327 properties in the Big Rock Mesa area. Property owners within each district pay for the services received through annual assessments levied against the properties by the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office.
The program’s administrative and maintenance services include the installation and maintenance of dewatering wells, monitoring water levels and slide activities, and preparation of annual assessment and geology reports.

The Dark Sky Ordinance in Malibu regulates outdoor lighting through the addition of comprehensive, citywide outdoor lighting standards which are contained in the Malibu Municipal Code Chapter 17.41.

BRMPOA ALPR Policy for Flock LPR Cameras
Per: Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.90.5–1798.90.55
Purpose: for security and crime deterrence
Authorized Users: Data is accessible to the president of the BRMPOA Board or other designated personnel. For privacy, residents can log in their own license plates and request their elimination from recorded searches.
Use: When an incident is brought to the attention of the Administrator, it is then that the Administrator will review footage and if there is other information available, work to hone in on a possible vehicle in question. Footage is available for 30 days. It is then deleted automatically.
Data Sharing: If a report has been made to the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station – The administrator can give permission to have the supporting footage accessed.
Training: Administrator has done training with Flock support. And Flock support is always available.
